TROUBLESHOOTING

Here are some tips that you can do whenever heating and cooling emergency pops in. It may prevent a service call and may help us diagnose the issue and provide solution faster.

Air Conditioner- No Cooling

  • Check the thermostat setting. Set the temperature control below the current room temperature and switch the system to COOL or AUTO position. Switch the fan ON or AUTO, so the blower will operate only when the A/C is operating.
  • Try setting the thermostat to its lowest temperature setting and see if the A/C turns on.
  • Check if the air filters are dirty. The dust accumulation may hinder proper flow of air in the registers.
  • Be sure that the registers are unobstructed.
  • Check the power disconnect switch.
  • Check the fuse/ breaker at the electrical panel.
  • Call us if the problem is not solved.

Heat Pump- No Heating

  • Check the thermostat setting. Set the temperature control above the current room temperature and switch the system to HEAT or AUTO position. Switch the fan ON or AUTO, so the blower will operate only when the heat pump is operating.
  • Try setting the thermostat to its highest temperature setting and see if the A/C turns on.
